  This is the third time I have visited the cafe and each time i say it’s the last , I have never had a good experience here, but this morning, desperate for a cuppa I visited again. WHY????. The service is just so bad, the crockery unclean. Just awful. It’s such a shame because the food shop downstairs is amazing and the cafe so so bad. Words fail me. I’m done, I won’t be back ever,

  Dirty cafe, tables never cleared or cleaned when I visit. Some staff lovely, others awful

  Great range of food and very convenient free parking. Only drops a star as they don't always open on time.

  Beautiful store. This used to be the Borders Book store, housed in a faithfully moved/restored dock warehouse building. M&S bought over the store and did a great job- the café upstairs is fantastic and the staff are extremely friendly!

  Pretty poor experience. My wife's soup was really hot and my soup was cold (my guess is that it was microwaved and mine got cold whilst hers was cooking). Kids ate theirs hence the 2 star. To keep the kids entertained whilst we had our coffee, they supplied us with colouring sheets and 1 crayon between them. 1 crayon between 2! Surely they can do better than that. Poor, poor, poor. I use to always rate M&S so highly.
