::Attended an open day out of intrigue following being handed a leaflet. Immediately upon entrance we were greeted and offered food and beverages exceeding expectations of exceptional hospitality the Islamic communities are famed for. Spoken to at length by a prominent member who explained the idea behind the open day and offered insight into the fundemantal, underlying values of Islam, the pillars and why he, and members of the faith as a whole, believe in what they do. Fully accepting of us, sceptical of the idea of an almighty God but open to religious teachings, the conversation was fascinatingly educational. An extremely friendly, knowledgeable young female conversed and offered us a modern, Western interpretation essentially rejecting the cultual expectations of Arabisation and focusing solely on the compassionate, accepting teachings which could benefit society as a whole. Overall a positive experience without fault. More people should be open to visiting Mosques and simply speaking to people of Muslim faith. Brilliant people and brilliant hospitality.

::Nice set up, good for ladies wanting to read namaz. They are head by salafi scholars, one thing in particular is to be aware that they read jummah before Zuhr time has started, this is for the first jummah jamaat not the second. They have a fatwah in the entrance corridor saying it's ok due to harj, first fatwah I've seen like that. Just make sure you do it with the second jamat.
