  Had a meal with family. Started outside, but it was a little noisy as it's next to the A5. Went inside. The food was decent, if a little pricey. The beer was good.

  Stayed in the rooms on the car park. Food is good and rooms are great value. Friendly staff. Pub closed quite early.

  Came here for an informal business meeting on a Tuesday night. Great atmosphere and intimate feel. I'm vegetarian and the veggie toad in the hole was superb. Good selection of lagers, ales and ciders too! Definitely will be coming back.

  Absolutely fantastic. Food up there with the best. Excellent value for the quality and service. The room we stayed in was more than we expected. Definitely going back.

  My wife and I are staying nearby. We love to cook and also eat out. Wonderful place. It's really lovely sitting above the canal watching the activity on the boats below. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Have ago at the beef blade. It melts in the mouth. Can't fault the place. We will be returning again next time we are in the area. Well done guys 5 stars.
