  A nice, central Nationwide with friendly staff, counters always open, and ATMs inside and outside.

  Absolutely shocking. We've been with them for years and have come to learn that they couldn't give a sheet about their loyal existing customers. Extremely unhappy.

  I like the bank for a couple of real simple reasons. They don't bother me with lots of questions when I'm making a deposit and it's smack in the heart of York city centre.

  Bloody awful. I am at my wit's end. I can't find the branch opening hours on the huge website or by phone. My branch is closed - why? Training on a Wednesday morning? If so, why was I told to phone first thing? And why was I told to contact my advisor Mon-Tues-Wed (when he is at this branch), only to find he was at a meeting in another town on the Tuesday I called? He gave me his mobile number - why can't he answer, wherever he is? Is he actually permanently at home in bed? I have been a member since 1957 and am horrified at what Nationwide has become.
