  Went in in connection with a bereavement, following instructions from NatWest's Bereavement Department which, because I was known to NatWest and on their systems, did not require me to show ID. Despite that, the lady demanded ID and refused to help saying because she herself did not know who I was it didn't matter what anybody else in the bank had written or done. She refused to check, was totally unhelpful and it turns out she was not even working to NatWest's own rules, as later confirmed to me by NatWest's helpful Bereavement Department who apologised on behalf of the bank. Don't expect the petty-minded staff at St Albans to listen to reason or use their brains, they just love to tell you what to do even if they're wrong..

  Great service and friendly staff , especially Mr.Stefan who was very polite, friendly and understandable .

  Great. If you have a NatWest bank account and live in the St Albans area, I'd recommend visiting.

  Banked with them for some time, but only through inertia, there's no other reason I still have an account with them.

  very bad service. giving me wrong information. making appointment with Charlotte but she didn not want deal with me. not polite at all. i was potential client but now ...forget about it. Never had so bad experience in my life .
