Brilliant place to visit. Serves great food, fine need and a nice selection of spirits and wine. Great performances too X plenty of parking, if you arrive after 6 and not have a car full, be prepared to pay a pound to park. The staff are very friendly and helpful x

Fantastic theatre that not only produces its own original shows, but also hosts the cream of national touring productions including dramas, music and comedies. A great night out guaranteed!

Very clean and tidy, staff are very helpful nothing is to much trouble. I go for lunch with my friends and husband at least once a month. The food is nice with a good variety, there is no need to reserve a table at lunch but need to if you are having a meal before a performance. There are good facility's for disabled where there is good parking, lifts and toilet facilities. If attending a performance tell them when booking you need a disabled parking bay and they will ask for your blue badge and it will be on the system for any other visits. If you are a wheelchair user they will tell you if they are taken the day you would like to visit otherwise they will tell you when parking is free.

Hello Enjoyed Treasure Island last night but would not rate it as the best Christmas Show we have seen at the New Vic. We felt the fluency of the narrative became too obscured by indistinct dialogue caused mainly by actors shouting or spitting out their lines despite using radio mics . Even 'normal' exchanges were conducted as an unnecessary shouting match. Mics are needed in this auditorium and should empower the cast to display the full subtleties of their vocal range. Also the balance of the volume of the music meant the lyrics which did in some instances move the narrative on became lost . This was very regretful as the cast is as usual so multi talented fulfilling both their dramatic and musical roles. These aspects sadly detracted from our full enjoyment of Treasure Island.

Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings in the bar/lounge. Could have more variety of beers but this is a theatre not a pub! Professional performances that never let you down. Good parking and access. Fun for all ages.
