::Stayed with my wife and our parents (all over 70) for 3 nights from 2nd-5th April. Staff all very friendly. Breakfast and 3 course evening meals were enjoyable..lots of choice. Bingo was fun and the entertainment after was good ..singers and dancers. Cheap bar prices. Pool and steam/sauna rooms were a bonus..£2 a session. Tram and bus stops right outside the hotel. Rooms dated but clean. Large car park. On the down side-lots of rubbish outside/in the corridors/lifts etc. Place needs updating. Each night before and after the bingo it was over run with screaming kids on the stage running riot...parent's did nothing even when staff asked them to keep the kids off the stage etc.too busy drinking. Ceiling in lounge also fell in on the afternoon..luckily no one was hurt. All in all you get what you pay for.

::Great location and venue for events. Staff really helpful. Food offering was very limited and bits of the building clearly need work. E.g. Disabled toilet was covered in gaffer tape "Awaiting repair"

::I only stayed one night here and was glad to do so. Check in and staff were friendly; however, the condition of the hotel has clearly seen better days. The lift was rickety and didn't feel safe. The room was filled with over sizes furniture, which made getting into the bare basics bathroom difficult. The tv kept cutting out on us and we eventually had to give up. Breakfast in the morning was acceptable, with plenty of space for everyone: although we did arrive as soon as breakfast was served due to an appointment, I couldn't say what it would be like later on!

::Stopped over for a couple of days with the kids just for a break. It was closed season and Blackpool was quiet but the hotel still had entertainment for the few guests that were there.. Staff were friendly and welcoming and all were working hard. Hotel has plenty of room and large bars and restaurants and cinema for the kids. Rooms are huge with good baths and showers. Some of the furniture is dated and old but generally clean and tidy (think how your grandparents bedroom furniture was) masses of fee parking and large reception areas...

::My husband & I spent last night at the Norbreck Castle and thought it was really good. Congratulations to them for employing a brilliant chef - the food was lovely. The hotel had a warm & welcoming atmosphere. The room was basic but clean. A hotel I would recommend.
