::This is not cheap accommodation and is located in a terrible area considering that young people will sometimes be walking on their own at all times of day and evening, and particularly in winter when it's dark early. We were advised that my daughter's flat was due for refurbishment. Unfortunately this never happened despite many promises. When my daughter made any approaches to the office to complain, for example the emergency phone not working, she was met with contempt and issues left unresolved. Due to the state of the room we put up new curtains on the first day to make it look a little nicer. We took them down on the last day. Despite never having used the dated, dirty and worn curtains supplied, my daughter has now been charged for these, very suspect business practices going on here! Once again, despite raising an issue about this my daughter has basically been called a liar and they refuse to give her full deposit back. Cleaners? No such thing! My daughter did however say that the security guards were friendly and helpful although frequent unauthorised toe rags in the surrounding area stealing bikes. Oh, almost forgot, frequent drug dealers also parked directly outside gates. If we could go back to last year we would've rented something privately closer to uni in City centre, cheaper and safer!! Don't send your kids here, very disappointing!!!! I have to add here, shame on Nottingham Trent University for having such terrible OFFICIAL first year student accommodation!

::For the price I paid in my first year for this accommodation I would not recommend, kitchens are outdated, bathrooms in en-suite rooms are microscopic and bed size is hopeless for anyone taller than 6'0. Location leaves much to be desired with rough estates and broken glass, derelict buildings and other things that are unwanted, only benefit is lovely staff who are quick to solve any issues you may have and car park is close enough to town to make norton court a possibility.
