  Visited here with my husband today and was really impressed. Debbie was great and talked us through all our finance options and we felt at ease and well informed. We came out with all dates and times for my husbands appts and surgery and its all happening in a few weeks. Thank you :-)

  I attended the Middlesbrough store on Albert rd and from the off i felt so unwelcomed. All i wanted was an eye test . It felt like i was walking into a funeral home. No bright colours just very dull store i was greeted by a small blond haired middle-aged woman who i could instantly tell was the manager even before she said hi im tbe manageress.. not hi my name is? Didnt get that. She was very blunt, grumpy, obnoxious and rude. I tried to crack a joke but obviously smiling not one of her forte's or strong points i then decided to walk out after this lady walking back to other female collegues shaking her head, "sniggering" and hearing her also infront of other customers slagging other staff members and customers off. Oh ive got good hearing the next time you want to call me a "strange man" i suggest you say it so i dont hear it. I FIND THIS DISGUSTING !!! Atleast specsavers have friendly bouncy staff who engage with the customers and are pleasnt and atleadt when you go in there its not like bern in a mortuary and you dont feel like you are about to die..... Sort it out optical express get a new boss and brighten you're store up. Or you will loose the remaining customers as i aint going back in ever

  While out shopping in middlesbrough today my sunglasses broke i went to soecsavers to see if they could fix them but they said because i hadnt bought them there they couldnt do anything so i called into optical express and to my suprise they said it was only a screw that was missing which they promtly put another in and didnt even charge.amazing the manager vanessa was so helpful and the shoo looked great i will deffinatley be using them again cant thank them enough as they are my favourite glasses.
