  Warm dog friendly hotel and some where we'd choose to return with its close proximity to the New Forest and the town centre. The evening dining experience is worth every penny and breakfast choice superb with local ingredients used

  Had a wonderful weekend stay here. Staff could not do enough to help. Truly dog friendly even down to towels for muddy paws. Decor is outdated but does not take away from the wonderful location and the staff. Will visit time and time again.

  The best place to stay of you have a dog! In a great location, with excellent food. A lovely hotel.

  great find in the new forest. walking distance into Lyndhurst, clean and comfortable. great breakfast-we'll be back with a four legged guest soon.

  Where to start .. staff very helpful & friendly. Very central for all interests around the New forest. Heath opposite hotel. Rooms comfortable. Breakfasts can't be beaten. Dinners nice selection for all tastes. Just to say how good this is our fourth time here
