  This used to be permanently churned up by dogs and a muddy brown colour, but they have partitioned the shallow end with reeds, so the dogs can still have a good old play in the water without disturbing the rest of the wildlife. There are a number of fishing platforms around the lake, and always people fishing, so I guess there must be some fish in there!
