  Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering food over there. I was never 100% satisfied with my meal also often you need to wait long for your meal to arrive.

  This rating is for the food only. We've had vegetarian options only and they were fab. The toilets however were very smelly and very dirty - not nice. And this is on Sunday 4pm. Staff were polite. Rev James was too warm but dark brains stout was fresh and creamy.

  Had lunch here today, steak and eggs. Wanted to have chips rather than herb potatoes but informed 'management does not allow substitutions'! Also rumour has it that tapas will not be on menu after April. Last year they stopped selling 'french fries' and only serve chips. Have Brains asked customers about changes?

  This pub/bar has a nice feel to it. It's not very big, so can get full quite easily leading to a bit of trouble finding somewhere to sit. Drinks are quite expensive and not a great choice of beers. When I've had food in here it's been very good. In summary, it's nice if you can get a good seat!

  Great place for a drink. Live music but was here recently for food and probably wouldn't order again as meat was overdone. Will stick to the drinks and tapas.
