  This salon is amazing. The people are so nice and friendly, they really care about you and even go out of their way to make Xmas goody bags for customers! I thoroughly recommend them to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

  Pele has knowledgeable, pleasant staff and a beautiful, modern salon in the heart of the city centre. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for salon services. This was my first haircut in three years and was 100% worth it. I booked into Pele with an itison voucher. The stylist I was booked in with hadn't been able to make it to the salon due to the terrible weather causing motorway closures (snow/sleet). That was no problem for the team at Pele and I was seen by Alison instead. She listened to exactly what I was looking for and made a few suggestions to make it even better. She was wonderfully friendly and put me at ease immediately. Alison consulted with me throughout the entire cut to make sure I was happy with the length and layers. My overall experience at Pele was fantastic. I will definitely use their services again.

  Sigh, what a let down. I usually don't spend a lot on my hair on my hair, for the last three years I have had it cut for less than £10 in barber shops and it has been totally fine. But groupon got the better of me and I booked in. Now there was first a mess up in my appointment but that happens and the receptionist was honestly so lovely, professional and apologetic I want to hire her as a personal assistant. I told my hairdresser that I am a lazy freak who wants to do nothing more in the morning than shake my hair out and go. She agreed that there was no point in giving me a hair cut I couldn't work at home. So how come my fringe is wonky, and far too short, unless I straighten it? I don't own straighteners so it jumps in the middle and makes me look like Miss Piggy. Also, god knows how, but in the process of making my wavy hair look flat- she has also cut my curls out, they are gone. My easy going wavy mess of hair has been replaced with a head of flat, thin hair that statics around my face. Worst bit is, no has emailed me back to talk about what the hell to do about my horrible hair. Not very impressed. Receptionist 5*, Hairdresser 2*.
