::What a gorgeous place and unknown to many. A place to relax and enjoy nature.

::Fantastic place for a walk with family, friends, dogs or by yourself. There's a great café/restaurant nearby, with an outdoor eating area - Lezzet. There is also a separate café nearby - Penllergaer Valley Woods coffee shop - with excellent cakes. It's a relatively short walk but very pleasant. It may be a little hilly for those who are less mobile but great to do a few loops on a short run.

::Beautiful Area which was formally a private garden owned by the Talbot family, which is now looked after by the national trust. There are lovely walks around the whole 'valley' with hidden gems like the waterfall. There are plenty of benches, although, more around the lake etc for picnics would be nice. On the whole, perfect for a nice walk or walking the dog. There is also a café on-site which does a selection of tea (herbal/normal), coffee (Cappuccino etc available), soft drinks and cakes (amongst other things)

::This is a place that seems to be hardly known but really should have many more visitors. The walks are wonderful and the work done by the volunteers has made the park so much better over recent years. At the outlet of the lake there is a remarkable device to generate electricity using an Archimedes screw. What a wonderful idea, totally green and non polluting. The little cafe is charming with lovely home made cakes, friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. This is a place we have returned to many times when walking our dog and will continue to do so.
