::First time in a while since we last ate at the Pitbauchlie. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Food was superb. Glad we decided to go there. Recommend to anyone looking for a choice outside town centre or away from the hassle at the cinema area.

::The rooms are a wee bit dated, but are undergoing refurbishment; that's good for a small hotel operator. Heating in the rooms are excellent, a welcoming wall of heat meets you as you enter. I've eaten in the bistro and it is OK for a bistro, drinks are not that expensive, but you are in a hotel - don't complain. staff are pleasant and friendly, housemaid do take notice of any shortfalls. This is my 3rd stay for business, I would only move if I have been through the Menu (twice at least).

::Service / staff - very good, staff friendly and helpful Accommodation - clean, tidy and double room was a good size. Breakfast - Table service with minimal buffet. On the occasion I ordered a hot breakfast what I ordered was disappointing. Meal - I only ate at the bar and did not try the restaurant. Menu choice was good but I didn't feel the quality of either of the two meals I ordered was great. Equivalent with chain pub food etc.

::Food good for a reasonable price. The service it's not quick and need to wait. But the atmosphere are really relax with a nice view on the park.

::Went to the Pitbauchlie House Hotel for a family Christmas lunch. There was 16 of us. We were shown to the bar area for a drink by the staff and then taken to the restaurant for our meal. All the staff were professional and attentive. We all had a 3 course meal and it was excellent. All the food was very good and freshly made. I would definitely recommend going here for a meal and drink.
