  We really enjoyed our stay at Plantation House. And like our daughter said "it feels like home". Richard the owner as well as the staff were just fantastic. So helpful, so accommodating, so patient. Travelling with 2 young kids, that made a real difference. The hotel is in a quiet area, just what we needed after busy days in nearby towns like Salcombe or Kingsbridge etc. Breakfast and dinner were very good and healthy, using local produce.

  My mum booked a night's get-away here for us, looking after the children for us. What can I say apart from the building is lovely, the staff are helpful and very attentive but most importantly the food is divine. If you love local sourced food treated with care by a chef who comes and asks if you enjoyed your meals, then this is the place for you, book a table now, you won't regret it.
