::A commanding and moving memorial to a huge number of the fallen. Beautifully maintained and in a magnificent location with fantastic views across the harbour and city.

::This is an impressive and moving Memorial to those sailors and marines who never returned. Reading the names of the fallen brings home the enormous sacrifice that was made. The setting is perfect for a Naval Memorial, looking out over the beautiful Plymouth Sound.

::This is a place that is not seen by all visitors, whether they just do not have time or just no interest, it's a shame. On this visit I wanted to see the memorial with its new display of Poppies which were installed this past week. I have to own up and say I Am one of those who held no interest, but last year I started looking into my family history, and although I do not have family listed, it was still an eye opener to see all those names listed. Open to all visitors it is well worth a visit, whether young or old, ex services or not. Just stop, look and remember.
