  Quite and easy access location ,but can not control room temperature, so a bit too warm

  Rooms are clean and comfy. Car parking outside hotel door. Restaurant and kfc next door. Staff friendly.

  Used as base while working in area. Staff were excellent both in hotel and adjoining "cookhouse". Rooms spacious and good. No faults. Good base

  Absolutely bog standard rooms, always much of a much. Nice new TV, hair dryer but that's it. The shower gel dispenser was empty - really annoying. The shower was amazingly powerful. Comfy bed with extra pillows. Tea and coffee refills available in reception.

  The hotel is currently getting an extension and has had a cosmetic face lift which makes it more modern. Staff in the hotel are great. The Cookhouse restaurant well that could be better, I understand booking for an evening meal table although the restaurant did not look that busy. However to be told in the morning even though I had paid for breakfast as part of the hotel booking that I should have booked a specific time for breakfast to get a table was ridiculous only to be treated with contempt. Sunday was much better for breakfast the staff that day were much better and attentive.
