  Food very good but hotel rather old and dated. Staff very helpful and friendly.

  Went with family for a birthday meal and most things were overcooked steak was tough. Salmon was dry. Onion rings were brown and hard and garlic bread was hard Garlic flat bread on Manu is misleading as you expect a mini garlic bread pizza but actually get 3 slices of one. Staff were quite polite but seemed a little rushed on what was a relatively quiet time.

  This is one of the older locations so does not have AC in the room, or the nice beds. It's definitely in need of a spruce up as the extractor fans sound like a plane taking off! There's not much double glazing to speak of as you can hear the traffic rumbling past on the busy road outside. I recommend you turn the heating off well before you intend to go to sleep as its otherwise furnacelike! The rooms are all over the place, ours was on the 2nd floor along a corridor, up some steps and then down again. Most odd. If you can get in I suggest you book the Premier Inn Sale, much newer refurb.

  Staff are super friendly, but place is dated and small. Rooms aren't very tidy and don't "smell clean". Sorry for saying so, but it makes you want to get out of here as soon as you can.
