  I am a member at Pure Gym in Birmingham (also good) and have only used this once when I had to work from home. But I found it to be really nice. Clean, well equipped, friendly and cheap. What else do you need from a gym. And well-placed, just beside the tram/bus interchange. And here's a shout out for the flexibility of Pure Gym's membership options - I didn't have to pay the full monthly cost of a second gym affiliation, just the pro-rata amount for the day. I'm impressed.

  Had good experiences here- crowded at peak times but that’s unavoidable really. Free weight selection is decent and machines are kept in good repair. Large number of treadmills/X-train/bikes for crowded times. Mats/Swiss balls/half-stability-balls are provided. Showers and toilets have cleaners round the clock, but patrons can be very inconsiderate in their messes.

  it is big enough and there is no need to wait for equipment . staffs very friendly and helpful . The process of joining is very quick and straightforward.

  Good equipment, fairly spacious, good changing facilities. Vending machine, weigh in machine. Staff on site for queries, free classes for members. Not bad at all for a no frills gym.

  Very spacious gym over two floors with lots of cardiovascular machines, fixed and free weights. Have never had a problem finding a place to work out there.
