The glasshouse has a small aviary with a few parrots and cockatoos as well as small displays of various small reptiles and a chinchilla. Not much educational value but interesting nonetheless to observe the small creatures. The plants section of the glasshiuse seems to be permanently shut for the time being.

The animal collection and children's play area makes this unusual and interesting park that is well worth visiting if you are in the area. Shame the cafe seems to be closed though.

Too many creatures in small compartments/space. Many displayed signs of lethargy, one tortoise was stressed. Some fish appeared too large for the small pond. I left unhappier than when I entered. I know, their natural habitat is threatened, we have to protect them as they are endangered. Wild creatures should not be contained, shut it down.

Free to visit. Glass house houses a selection of birds and an abundance of reptiles and creepy crawlies. There are also koi ponds in the glass house. Houses a decent sized cafe but very pricey, would recommend bringing a packed lunch and taking advantage of the picnic benches outside. Also has an iindoor soft play area (free) for under 5's although this isn't adhered to so your experience will vary depending on who else is there on the day. Toilet facilities are adequate, basic but functional. Baby changing area could use some more thought put in it, smelly and no shade so changing station get quite hot. Early closing though so make sure you toilet early to avoid getting caught short as there are no other bathroom facilities in the park
