::Paid £850 the night of the Liverpool v Roma match April 2017. I was upgraded to a business suite too as was paying for numerous colleagues. It was still a poor room. Dated and old. I don't know what star this hotel is. I suspect they claim 3 stars but you want to leave quicker than you arrived. I also had the breakfast. Was charged £17 for the pain of eating black pudding so hard and crispy that I nearly broke a tooth. For me this even for £100 a night in a standard room this is an avoid.

::It was an OK hotel. However there were a few issues. The electrical sockets were temperamental and didn't always work but fortunately I had a backup. The breakfast was the best part of the culinary experience and there was a good selection. All in all, I'd use it again for work trips.

::Lovely clean and comfortable. With a beautiful view of the docks from bedroom window. Close to shopping centre and attractions. Enjoyed my stay...

::Lovely rooms. Really large and well furnished. Comfortable beds. The gym and the pool are great facilities. The breakfast is very nice. Ask the staff are really friendly. A very pleasant stay!

::My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our Spa day. From entering the spa to leaving it, the service was excellent. On arrival, Jennifer welcomed my friend and I and explained the day to us. We had lunch in the hotel which was really good and then made use of the spa facilities finishing with a back massage. My therapist was Jennifer and I can honestly say it was the best massage I’ve had in a long time. Jennifer was very friendly and professional and, I would imagine, a valued member of staff. Thank you for a thoroughly relaxing day. The only issue for me was the floor. Jennifer had explained it can get slippy and to be cautious. I’d taken my own flip flops so was ok with the patchy wet floor. My friend, however, had to make use of the slippers provided at the spa which had plastic soles and had to be careful she didn’t slip. Don’t let the slippy floor put you off though, take flip flops and you’ll be fine.
