  My favourite fishing location. Great fun, stunning fish and Raker Lakes has got to be the 'Augusta' of venues in the UK. Very well maintained. Beautiful grounds and manicured lawns. Enjoying a great session on Heron today with a good pal and my grandson. Perfect day.

  I'm not a massive fan of fisheries but this place ticks all the right boxes. Stunning scenery, very well managed and the fish are pristine. Hard to get on at weekends (understandable as with what I said earlier). A booking system is in use at a month in advance and just turn up during the week. Good wheelchair access to the pegs.
