::Supposedly a chippy but nothing like sausage & chips i've had anywhere else. It's hard to get deep fried food wrong but it trying to hipster it up they've managed to make it taste disgusting.

::Fish size was ridiculous. Chips were oily. £10 for a 30 seconds of eating.

::I ordered a vegan 'fish', fries, mushy peas and 2 sauces for 11.50£. The meal was the most disappointing thing I have ever eaten. There are so many ways to make vegan 'fish' interesting (it takes barely any experience of cooking to do so) but here they just wrapped silken tofu with some seaweed, deep fried it and didn't even salt it. The portions were tiny (they call it a 'regular') and I did not even receive my second sauce. Can't complain about the service as staff was really nice, but I am furious to see that something so poorly done can be sold in Westgate Social.

::I came after a long shift at work and was greeted by really friendly and smiley staff (which was great as I was so tired and really brightened up my day!!!). Very quick service and I couldn’t recommend the chips with cheese and bacon enough! Being a student I still found the prices really reasonable and was well worth the extra compared to McDonalds/Burger King! Will be back soon! :)

::Very nice staff, good meal deal price at £10 for fish and chips and a drink, also a 15% Student discount - some may call this pricey for fish and chips, but it is meant to be more artisanal than regular fish and chip shops. They advertise their chunky chips as cooked in beef dripping, but we’re very happy to do them for me without. The fish batter was also extremely tasty, recommended
