::I just bought a macerator in emergency from Screwfix in £379 in next day avaiability. Same model was available on Amazon in £305 including free postage but it takes 3 days in dilivery. So according to my own experience Screwfix is good to buy products 7 days in a week but it is very expensive.

::It's a joke. I have been in the Property renovation trade for over 30 years, and some bright spark tells me I am not good enough to use the plumbing and electrical counter. Simple answer, I get all my large orders from Professional Wholesalers and just use screwfix for the odds and ends. I prefer the materials to be on the job ready for the Electricians and Gas fitters.

::Bought some chrome plug sockets in there a few months ago for my electrician to instal in my kitchen and the sales advisor asked if I a needed the back casings, I wasn't sure so went off his advise and purchased 3 double plastic casings. Needless to say when my electrician came to fit them they were the wrong ones, should have been metal, which wasn't mentioned to me at the time. Only just got around to taking them back as need 18x chrome handles and thought it might offset against the cost. However on returning them the sales assistant and manager made me feel very embarrassed in the store saying they couldn't find them on my order and saying it was over 5 months ago when I placed the order. Unfortunately my mother has been really unwell and as such my time and focus has been with her. I understand that if it was too long ago nothing could be done but I was made to feel very embarrassed and left the store upset leaving behind the plug casings.
