  lovely experience the ladies were really helpful and honest when i was choosing my glasses. Very happy with the final result

  Walked in with a contact lenses problem once lunchtime . They were more than happy to assist me and saved me a lot of discomfort and panic! Boots on the other hand had been extremely dismissive. Thank you again from a very happy lady!

  The worst customer service I have ever received. Not worthy of 1 star! My existing frames were sent off to have new lenses inserted. When I took collection of them I noticed that they had been snapped in half and glued back together. I immediately went back into the store to discuss this. Scrivens said they were unaware of the damage (the company they use to replace lenses did not declare this to them) nor did Scrivens check the quality of the work done before handing them over to me. My complaint was escalated to the head office customer service team. To cut a long story short, I was left 11 weeks without any glasses, nor did I receive a single phone call with an update as to what was going. The result....head office agreed to reimburse me the money I spent on the new lenses (£120) but only on the condition the new lenses were removed. They refused to put back my existing lenses and so I was left with empty frames to collect. Shocking at how low a company would stoop. I regret stepping foot in the store and will not be recommending Scrivens to family and friends. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!
