  This company needs to learn that people like to browse when choosing furniture, visited today and walked out after 10 mins they just wouldn't leave us alone, pressure selling never has and never will work in my book, terrible sales tactics.

  Well were do I start? I'm not sure if it's buying a sofa or just buying from SCS but we have had an ordeal that I never wish to repeat with this company. The initial contact with heir sales team was great. John who sold us the sofa was one of the best sales men we'd seen in a long time. He wasn't pushing everything he could down our throats and after carefully explaining the options available to us we ordered the Pepe 2/2 corner in brown and cream along with a carpet on October 9th. Little did we know the nightmare that would ensue. On 10th October 'Geraint' (remember this name) called my partner to book the delivery date of the carpet. 'Wow this is quick and fab service' we thought...how wrong we were. We asked when the sofa would be delivered thinking we could get the carpet done a few days before, we were told the sofa would be delivered 14th November so we booked the carpet for 7th November. A week after booking the carpet delivery Geraint called me once again to tell me that the carpet we had ordered and booked wasn't actually in the country until late December and offered us a free upgrade. I was happy with this after all these things happen and I was assured that all would be delivered as originally planned. November 7th came and our carpet was delivered an fitted and we were exited for the following Friday so that the room would be complete. On 14th I called the store to check the delivery time (I needed notice to leave the office for a short while) only to be informed by the store assistant that the sofa wasn't even in the store. SCS promise in their T&C to notify you of any changes - which they don't! I was understandably furious given we had nothing to sit on but the floor and that the sofa wouldn't be delivered for another 2 weeks. They gave me the date of 24th November. Geraint refused to accept him mistake and actually denied ever booking the delivery because and I quote 'I would never book a delivery of the product wasn't in store'. At this point I flipped my lid because he was clearly lying to me. He had done exactly that with my carpet and I had been compensated for it. His attitude was atrocious and he clearly couldn't care less about the service SCS were offering. I resigned myself to the fact that he was a rude, obnoxious idiot and asked him to confirm the ate to be 24th November which he did. Today id November 25th and I am still without a sofa - I have been told by another SCS employee that it will be in store on December 2nd and that I can expect delivery that week. Which I am highly doubtful of at this minute. My advice to anyone thinking of buying with this company would be DONT!!! Look at other reviews (they are dreadful). Christmas on the floor it will be this year!
