  Nottingham ,This is the worst service I've experienced in the UK very poor communication appalling attitude from the apprentice who was sent to lay the carpet who to be fair on first glance seems to have made a good job of it but wanted 60 pounds cash for laying a square room no bars to fit no grips or underlay as all already down 5.6m x 3.1m easy access as Id removed doors first 35 mins -60pounds which is okish if that was the agreed price but it wasnt the salesman TOM told me it was 40pounds and Id budgeted for that amount . The apprentice then aggressively told me that I was ripping him off and he was going to rip the carpet up and that he didnt care.- Ive seen and worked with all sorts of tradespeople but to work in peoples homes is for some a skill itself others just have learnt these skills whilst growing up and some just dont have what it takes and shouldnt work in dwellings . I recorded the whole job on a micro webcam which I left recording Im trying to format it to this website I will blur out their faces as Im not trying to shame them as they seem so young just want other people of Nottingham to know what they could be in for if they buy from SCS lady bay Nottingham

  The worst sofa I've ever bought. I paid 799 pounds and in one year it broke 2 times. The springs are disconnected continuously, and I have to call for assistance to repair it. It is not convenient. I do not recommend it. V.G.

  I wouldn't use SCS ever again! I ordered and paid in full for vinyl to go in my bathroom and kitchen. The fitter came and did a good job with the bathroom floor, moving on to do the kitchen to then find that SCS had sent the incorrect colour. SCS said they wouldn't be able to get the correct colour for at least 6 days, the fitting was then booked again for 6 days later at 4pm. On the 6th day I received a call from SCS at 2.50pm to say that there's a mark through the vinyl and that they wouldn't be able to get it sorted until 5 days later. After very poor customer service I was then offered £20 off my order or a refund. I wasn't happy with that at all. I requested my money back in cash as this is what I paid, SCS said that wasn't possible as they don't keep cash on the premises. So it had to be paid onto my debit card so I couldn't order from another company untill the funds had cleared in my account.

  Have had a new sofa set delivered months ago. Rang over 8 or 9 times in the last two months asking for correct feet to be delivered. Still not received, no apology or acceptance of being in the wrong. Was told that it's been ordered and asked why I'm being fobbed off to which they said I'm not. Sofa was scratched by driver and I was told they will repair it. Sent in pictures as per there request, took weeks of chasing for them to get a quote off a third party and then say to me that I need to take it up with the driver personally and it's got nothing to do with them. Never buy from here, worst customer service experience ever and my issue still is not resolved with odd and unbalanced feet. Not looking forward to complaining again and taking this further to area managers and press but left with no choice. People need to be made aware of big companies that take you for a ride when you spend money with them there not bothered about anything after the sale. Awful & upsetting behaviour from these guys have made my parents ill. Stay Away!
