  Ex Pupil here, circa 1992-95 before we moved. In my experience, this was a fantastic school to attend. Multi-cultural, multi-racial, multie-faith. The teachers, the ones I liked anyway where fantastic. I remember Mr McKay, Art teacher, very patient with pupils. Mr Letford was my guidance teacher, brilliant man, so if your reading then thank you for your time. Head teacher back in those days, Mr Wilson was fantastic also. I have fond memories of the place. Strict no bullying policy even back then, welcoming atmosphere. A swimming pool which the pupils were allowed to use during lunch hour, (I don't know if this still applies, or if the pool is still there). I would put mine here but live too far away.

  warm and welcoming to pupils regardless of their background or ability. Great staff and fantastic sports facilities in particular.

  Swimming on a Sunday with Kingfisher School of Swimming. Excellent service, facilities and staff.
