  Friendly staff, good range of dog treats/training aids and toys. Also some cat/bird/small animal stuff but mostly focused on dogs

  I would love to buy from them regularly, but every time I try, they’re closed or open for two hours only. I recently wanted to buy cat’s litter and I was told to come on Wednesday after 2pm as that’s when they get delivery, they were supposed to order it for me - and they closed at 2pm on Wednesday. Next day they opened for two hours and didn’t have the litter I was waiting for. I have no other choice than buy from a big supplier or amazon... it’s not the first time.

  From the exterior, Simply Dogs looks unassuming. As I walked in, the shop owner (Pauline) greeted me with a smile. Pauline is extremely friendly and more than willing to help. The level of customer service here is exquisite. The variety and quality of products on offer is impressive. There's Tug-e-nuff toys, Orijen treats, Ziwipeak treats and raw food in the back. I haven't seen any other pet shops in Edinburgh offer goods like these. It's a shame that the shop isn't a bit more "done up" because the staff and business itself are fantastic. Would highly recommend a visit!

  Excellent products and fantastic service. Love taking the dogs here for food, toys and treats.
