  Fantastic location. Lovely cosy pub. Great food though quite small portions for the price.

  Simply the best food available anywhere in the home counties. Super venue, especially in Summer when you can eat on the veranda. Always superb. Not cheap but not ridiculously expensive either. Our favourite restaurant. Nouvelle Cuisine at its finest.

  What a beautiful location! Lovely welcome. The food was excellent...but spoilt with a mix up over half the menu arriving late . Sampled the set menu portions sizes are FAR too small despite ordering sides. Came home hungry!

  Food was fine. But at the end of the meal we got charged close to £20 more than we had spent. The explanation was that the server had left and the couldn't check - we could call back!!!!. However, the bill also had lists of X1 (times 1) when we had 2 drinks (they doubled the item price) ... was this to confuse us? Why couldn't they give us a bill that truly reflected what we had? Shocked as this was a Michelin one star place! So disappointed with the management for what felt to me as a manipulation!
