  Free soda now that's a pearl. Good service. Lovely setting. Great food. Definitely see me again.

  Good selection of beers and good atmosphere though if you stay too late it becomes a less desirable place to be.

  Usually I love the slug and lettuce but last Thursday night, when it was pretty busy but there were still plenty of empty tables, we waited at least an hour at the bar for drinks every time we went up as they were so understaffed. We were waiting so long that the kitchen closed after we had been stood at the bar for half an hour and so half of our group couldn't get any food. They ran out of cocktail glasses and none of our drinks were served with any of the garnishes that were pictured / listed on the menu. At around 10.30 they turned off the music and put the lights up to encourage people to leave - we had only really just managed to get our drinks and all sit down!

  Nice location with lovely river views. Found a nice car park just a quick stroll along the riverbank. Interesting menu. Altogether a great place.

  I ordered drinks, specifically Woo Woos from the bar. When I received them, they weren't as expected. When I queried the fact that they contained lime juice. I was told that although the menu didn't list lime juice as an ingredient, it should contain it, and the staff who had made it earlier had made a mistake (making it to the menu). I was also told that if I wanted one without lime I had to specify that when I ordered it. Do I also need to specify that I want one without arsenic? When I gave my partner the drink and told her what was said, she went up to change it (she doesn't like lime juice) she heard them rudely say "that woman is back" and then proceeded to charge her for replacing it with a drink which matched the menu. It was thoroughly unprofessional of your staff, not to mention illegal to serve something that doesn't match what was listed and not replace it free of charge, and I won't be suggesting anyone else go to this particular establishment.
