  Food is shockingly bad since the hotel was taken over and now called Leonardo. It takes ages to get served and checked -in to the place. Rooms are cold. Heating bill must be too much. Oh and the breakfast chef is too busy playing on his phone to put any effort in. Most of its cooked the week before, Stay clear. Lots of other hotels here now.

  The Speedbird is just a short walk from the main terminal of Aberdeen Airport, so there really isn't any need for a taxi. The staff and service at the Speedbird are excellent the rooms are very clean spacious and well presented,the beds are also very clean and extremely comfortable too. The restaurant and bar are just a few steps away outside from the main accomodation building through reception for me this was not a problem. The menu has a very good selection and the food is excellent and served piping hot and full of flavour and there is a good selection of drinks too. There are now a lot of larger big name chain hotels which have been built around the Speedbird but for the price and comfort the Speedbird still comes very high on the list. I would highly recommend staying here.

  Lots of parking good clean rooms very polite and helpful staff. Cash machine and good food in the bar. Very convenient for the airport and they have a shuttle bus to take you there or pick you up. Bus stop on the top road for going in to town or a taxi. Great place and one that i use quite a bit.

  Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Desk attendant was great. She handled door key problems with grace and care. She was really helpful giving advice about food options and sites in the area. Great service, reasonable room in a convenient travel location.
