  After work gym/swim spot for some of the local business' at Wellington square and Wellington place. Very small pool (less than 2m deep throughout) and gym. Has some parking facilities and friendly guy on reception.

  Giving a 1* is very generous. I booked a spa with afternoon tea for my mum's birthday and we've both walked away feeling more stressed than when we first walked in. We arrived with plenty of time to the spa and your staff were very disorganised and it felt like it was a chore to serve us. We were told to sit in the bar area which we just expected to know where it was, to wait for our afternoon tea for 2. 30 minutes later we went back to the spa to see what was happening as nobody came to serve us or even bother to see if we were ok. The guy apologised and got someone to sort it. (He was the only one who generally seemed apologetic). Very disappointed when it came just slapped on and not a big selection for vegetarians which we did request. Then we asked if we could have spa treatments but they said no all booked up but when booking I wasn't allowed to book treatments online as I was told to book on the day. So what we actually came to do we wasn't allowed and the girls behind the desk we're very unhelpful. Dirty facilities when getting changed and it was advertised we would get complimentary robes and slippers, we never received the slippers and the robes looked grubby and over used. The pool was absolutely freezing, myself and my mum couldn't even go into the pool. The best thing was the Jacuzzi and the steam room because at least it was warm and we could use them. Overall highly disappointed, wasn't made to feel welcome at all and we certainly won't be coming back. My mum's birthday spa day turned into a spa day of hell, so thanks for that! 👎🏻

  OK bit hit and miss depending on hotel residents using facilities pool square and a bit small

  wasnt as good as others pool mucky and not very helpful

  small but works for a quick lunchtime visit, staff always nice
