  I bought some items and decided I'd try them on at home as I was in a hurry. I took a few of them back thinking I'd get refunded back onto my credit card. I was told by Forrest Gump the manager that they don't do refunds only credit notes so the money stays in the company. I thought this policy was stopped years ago. I will be checking it out legally. Terrible way to treat customers just like the warehouse workers get treated by this company absolutely shocking and will never ever be back

  ordered trainers (along with a fortunes worth of clothes) online in size 5 for my son. they arrived the evening before his holiday (a day late) in a size 4.5. forcing me to go to the shop and buy a replacement as they don't accept online returns for a swap instore. we were watched like hawks whilst in store... at one point i asked for a different size and was told the assistent couldn't leave us alone with shoes and had to wait for somebody else to come watch us! then i asked about bags thinking might as well get my son a new one. so i was told they were downstairs. i was told they would take the trainers we'd chosen downstairs, along with an exchange my friend had brought in. we go downstairs, choose a bag.... oddly enough we were trusted not to be watched with this :/ why? if i was criminally minded im fairly certain i could steal a lot more with a massive holdall than itty bitty purse :/ we go to checkout. queue.... then get told we have to wait for somebody to take our traines back upstairs as exchanges can't be done downstairs. i actually said im not exchanging anything you won't let me... im buying from you AGAIN. but my trainers were already on their way up with my friends exchange. so back up i traipse with 3 children including a little girl terrified of their stairs where i queue AGAIN! I would avoid at all cost. online orders are rarely correct then they charge you postage to return and the customer service is awful both in store and online. to be treated like a criminal with a fetish for trainers is rediculous. JD is right across the road. Go there.

  Not the best visit. Waited in queue downstairs to return goods only to be told would have to go upstairs and wait in queue before getting money back. On the good side there were lots of discouns on.

  Too many customers not enough tills on. Staff telling customers to go downstairs....where there were more tills. But onlh 2 open. Seemed to be an abundance of staff milling round tho! You only need two people buying lots of items and you re waiting then. My problem is the abundance of staff on the shop floor...oblivioys we wrre waiting!! Nearly walked out@

  Went there on 28.07.17 - Friday afternoon, store must have been understaffed as we had to wait literally 30 minutes to be served in ladies trainers area. I wanted to try on 3 pairs of trainers and instead of bringing them all at once, staff member went to the storage 3 times to get everything I wanted. I wasn't the only one to be served, there were families and people waiting to be seen too and only one staff member, which didn't look particularly interested in what he was doing. I don't think he likes this job to be honest. When it came to paying, it took a good while again to be served as it must have been 10 people in front of me and one person serving! The whole experience was really disappointing, as what should have taken me 20 minutes, took over an hour (and I wasn't fussy about the trainers, took me 2 minutes to decide which pair I liked). Parking situation not very good as well, had to queue for a long time to actually leave this place, everyone who knows this store would have probably said the same. Also - people parked on the pavements, tho there were free parking spaces. Don't know what is this about? It's a shame as I think this store has nice shoes and clothes, but due to poor customer service I won't be back. Waste of time!
