  Bought damaged goods, tried to exchange the item only to accused of lying and removing the tags, wearing it, damaging it, then putting the tags back on! Assistant manager, Emma, immature, inexperienced and dam right rude! 😡

  Went into sports direct on friday,the only 1 member of staff was friendly and it was the guy handing out baskets,,the other 3 members of staff that were women were rude and not helpful at all,felt as if we werent welcome and just incase any members of staff see this review heres a pointer a smile goes a long way!,will not be returning to that store again.

  sports direct or sports world used to be a budget alternative to JJB and JD sports, where you could get basic sports wear at cheap prices. but now with the demise of JJB and JD there is no other option, their prices have got right up, and their selection is basic, not of the quality of JJB or JD, so now we have no other options, we just have overpriced plain sports wear. the selection is all the same, rows and rows of generic clothing, nearly everything is plain one colour, or stripe. the snazzy sportswear you could find 10 years ago seems to have disappeared, the colourful 2 or 3 tone sportswear, i wasted my time in there twice recently and came out with nothing.
