  Good place to watch football, a red pub for sure. They do a good roast too.

  Nice enough pub. Friendly lively atmosphere. Unfortunately the massive let down for me was the drink. In a word, rubbish. Flat, lifeless, tasteless. Price was cheap but was it worth it? Not really. Can't really go on much more than that. Really disappointing.

  Had a lovely Sunday dinner at the Spread Eagle today. 5 adults and 2 children. Meat served for you while you serve yourself to a good range off vegetsbles and roastie, tasty gravy and choice of sauces. 5 adult meals, 2 children's meals, a bottle Shiraz wine, 2 lemonades, pint of larger and bottle of bulmers cider. All for a fantastic price of £63. What more could you ask! Definitely be back again!

  Great pub for a pint of Holt's Bitter or Guinness. They show the football as well which is something else you may be interested in. I hear the food is now very good although I haven't tried it myself. The place has had a makeover recently but rest assured it's still got a genuine pub atmosphere. Staff and clientele are very friendly. Great place to go when the weather's good as they probably have the biggest outdoor seating area of any pub in Chorlton.
