I was helped out by an absolutely smashing bloke (I think his name is Akeem, sorry my eyesight is terrible and the name badge was hard to read) who went above and beyond the call of duty for a post office employee. 10/10 best experience I've ever had. That man deserves a raise because he loves his job too much and makes the world a better place to be in. I hope to one day buy him a drink or five. If my children grow up to be half as positive, kind or helpful as him I will be immensely proud.

An utterly useless excuse of a post office. I’ve been in twice in living memory, both within the last month.. on both occasions the majority of “self service” machines were broken, and when you do get to use them it’s a lengthy and confusing procedure. They have I think five or six “stations” to serve customers, but both times there was only ONE person serving customers. And serving you, to them, is seen as both the greatest favour they’ve ever done anyone, and the greatest chore of all time. Then there’s someone helping people on the self service, which everyone pretty much requires at least *some* help with. Sadly it’s your only option in the city centre. Also it’s the only post office where I’ve put all my post separately on the scales, and am given individual, lickable stamps and told to put them in the post box outside, rather than them taking them, putting the adhesive stamps on, and putting them in the post sacks behind the counter.. as has happened with every other post office I’ve ever been to.

The fluff I pick from my belly button would be better than the staff here. You expect a trip to the post office to be bad. But this one has to be the worst. I have never come across such aggressive people who at the same time seem to do everything they can to sherk responsibility. Please please get more automation and get rid of your staff.

Very pleased that so much is automated now, much quicker. A very helpful member of staff approached me when I went to a postage machine. He offered to guide me through it, which he did in a way that I learnt (rather than doing it all for me). It was very busy in there but I had a good experience.

This Post Office used to be plagued by long queues for its service desks. Now they've replaced half the service desks with a greater number of self-service machines, and yet it somehow seems to have even longer queues as a result. The new system is unfathomable (Do you need self service or not? If not, you need to take a ticket for which you first need to go to a different kind of self-service machine...) and so they've had to give somebody the job of standing at the entrance and trying to direct people to the right tool for them. If you manage to accidentally get past this helper then you'll find yourself lost, with no idea where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do. Use a different post office or, better yet, do as much as you can online. For your sanity.
