  this place was so much more than I thought it would be. I was pleasantly surprised we had a room full of guests and the waiting staff were so professional everything was served at a nice temperature. the rest of the staff were all equally pleasant

  Booked a private room for Grandad's 80th Birthday. Food was fantastic and great value for money. As it was all preordered we didn't have to wait long. Portions were generous and we were grateful for the gap between main and pudding so we were ready for it. Lovely kids menu even for fussy toddlers. A beautiful venue and great for a special family get together. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We all had an amazing time.

  This is a really friendly place to visit with very pleasant staff whose aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They have very good food at sensible prices. One of the best value places to eat in Plymouth. Not sure why I'm telling you this it will make it even more popular and harder to get a table!

  Where do I begin, from stepping through the door we were greeted by a wonderful girl at reception who was more than happy to change our dinner reservation because we had turned up slightly late. From there on, she took us too our room (The Francis Drake room!) It was value for money and absolutely beautiful! They had worked modern with the classical features of the building wonderfully. Once ready, we were shown our table by the best table service I think I’ve experienced (and I’ve eaten in a fair amount of nice places) the waiters all seemed more than happy to be of service and they were all smiling! The food was amazing and value for money! My partner and I have decided to make this a monthly treat because we enjoyed it that much! Thankyou for a wonderful time.

  Fantastic hotel. Very comfortable beds and gorgeous bathroom. Breakfast and dinner are also enjoyable. Take a chance to stay there and you won’t regret.
