  This is a top gastro pub. Went there for a Saturday night dinner and everything was spot on. Service was attentive but not over the top, pre-dinner cocktails ably mixed at the bar by informative and witty barman. Waiting staff well versed on each dish on the menu and wine list offered a good range but not too confusing. Pork and hake dishes amazing, fish stew was a bit bland but this is all relative given how good the other dishes were. Panna cotta with early season rhubarb just capped it off. Apparently this is a specialty of the head chef Emily Scott. The evening just kept improving as when the bill come I couldn't believe how little a full dinner for four with cocktails, wine and pudding cost. Our average pub back at home would have been about 25% more. Well done the team at St Tudy's. You really nailed it.

  Fab interior. Good Sunday lunch but forgot that it was my birthday though they were reminded the day before. A bit of a disappointment.

  One of the best for a Sunday carvery! Book in advance as its very popular but well worth a visit 👍🍽🍻
