::Scam artists. After renting this apartment through booking (.) com and paying £65 for added parking for 2 vehicles we still left with 2 parking fines. After calling the owners after receiving them they said they would sort them out. 10 calls later, 10 responses of "I will contact you tomorrow" we have now had to pay over £300 in fines. This has forced our hand to contact citizens advice and trading standards to see how we can claim this money back. Today was the last attempt at contact which once again failed where one of the owners claimed he does not work for the company anymore. Bearing in mind they told us they were a couple that rented out the apartment. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTISTS!

::Stayed at this apartment in April with 4 of my friends and we booked the parking through the site too. The lady who greeted us showed us to where we park which was a couple of minutes walk away. We were given a key to a little square parking area gated off and other cars were parked in there. We were told we could lock the gate when we wanted. Throughout our stay my 2 friends got issued parking tickets because the owner failed to provide us with parking permits. Now we are getting lots of letters with fines and the owners are not cooperating. I am very upset by this. Would definitely not recommend anyone booking this apartment. This is a breach of contract and we have been victims of fraud.

::Stuffy building with no opening windows or air con/air flow! Some towels would have been nice!!

::Great location and friendly owners but needed a good clean and some equipment was broken. Inconvenient way to collect keys on arrival- needs to be more reliable.

::Absolutely abhorrent customer service and possibly just a scam. When I showed up the address was actually a pizza restaurant. My taxi driver called them to ask for directions. When he got off the phone he mentioned they were extremely rude but told him that I should go into the pizza place and they would show me upstairs to an apartment. The pizza employees had no idea what I was talking about. When I mentioned the name "Stay Central Apartments" they pointed me across the street. The building they directed me to was entirely dark, doors locked, no signs, no doorbell. I try calling the Stay Central number multiple times and get the notification "this mobile number has been turned off or disconnected." I try calling again 15 minutes later and a man picks up the phone. I cordially say "hello, I booked an apartment for tonight and we've been wandering around the street but we can't find the location. Could you please give us directions?" and the first thing this guy says to me is "you're 15 minutes late". I reply "I'm late? We arrived at the address on time but you haven't given us a single correct direction or been helpful at all and your phone was off." He goes on a rant "I'm not letting you stay here. Do you know who I am?" Etc etc. to keep it PG I will just say that cursing followed on both sides. This place is clearly a huge scam and if it happens to not be a total scam, I can tell you for certain that the proprietors are the rudest, most terrible people that have ever run a lodging. Avoid at all costs!
