::I've let out a couple of properties through Swift (formerly ELS) for years now. I've never had trouble dealing with Swift, though I have had substantial issues with one of my properties that needed some major work. All of the work was carried out on my behalf by Swift and their contractors, and I honestly couldn't have been happier with the service, or the work. They've also been very quick at sourcing great tenants, which can't be easy. Top agency, and I really like the new online system they have incorporated, making it far easier to track and monitor everything.

::We were appalled by Swift Lettings - they are undoubtedly the worst letting agency we've experienced. We rented with them for nine months and they were consistently opaque, unhelpful and difficult to get hold of. They also over-charged us for rent and bills when we moved out of the flat. Shocking.

::My worst experience with the letting agency. The stuff was extremely unfriendly, nothing was explained clearly. The didn't notify me when their office moved, so I couldn't collect the keys from the flat and had to stay in a hostel, which I find completely unacceptable. It was utterly impossible to deal with the agents via the phone. I had to call several times regarding a single problem and each time they pretended to hear it for the first time. In order to get something fixed it was necessary to go there personally every time. The situation with the refund of the deposit was absolutely appalling. I couldn't get back my money for over 3 month after I moved out. Overall, completely untrustworthy place. My advice is to never use their services unless you just want more problems.

::I had a great flat through Swift, but when there was an issue with the plumbing (toilet water and feces backing up through the shower and) it took a long time to even get a response from the agency. I wouldn't recommend this agency as they routinely take a long time to respond to their tenants inquiries. After calling several times, my roommate and I finally got an appointment. However, the lady who met us was quite dismissive about our plumbing issue. When the staff does decide to pick up the phone, though, they are polite.

::Swift letting is very professional. Lovely bunch of girls, amazing Service and very friendly. Extremely efficient. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to rent and also to landlords looking for a reliable smooth process.
