  Booked for a Valentine's lunch. Turned up and restaurant was closed. No warning from restaurant. Phoned up later to see what was going on, and the manager was incredibly rude. Did not take responsibility for thr issue. Then he threatened us with a letter from his solicitors! Maybe he was having a bad day, but that kind of intimidation is never ok.

  Booked a table for 3 o'clock today (Saturday) to celebrate my mums birthday.. walked up to the door to find it was CLOSED! I couldn't believe it as I had confirmation emails from 'Alan Kuznetsov' saying we had our reservation for 3!! Luckily Loch Fyne had room for us and served us up some lovely grub, also cheaper than Tatlers... thankfully it didn't upset my mum too much but it pi**ed me off!!

  Fantastic meal for our daughter's 21st birthday. Food was excellent, service was great. Thank you to Alan and his team for a lovely night.

  Booked table for two on the Tatlers website - message said the booking had been confirmed. Turn up on a Saturday night and the place is shut. In the end had to eat at that shite mexican place over the road as everywhere else on Tombland was full. Luckily, through my own wit and charm ive managed to secure a second date. Assholes.

  Large variety of ales and beers on tap, and super enthusiastic waiting staff. In fact our server was very helpful and knowledgeable, but the food whilst a good selection was a bit meh.
