::Easy to get to. Good range of food. Also has clothes, electrical and household goods departments

::Very good selection, including home items. The market "island" is a quirky touch to most Tesco Extra's I've been too. The wash while you shop, on car park car wash is superb. For a very good price they do a great job inside and outside. Would certainly recommend the guys outside.

::Disappointing - never has the same range of choices or anything above basics items. Where my local superstores offer a huge choice, the Bidston store feels like what you'd expect in the former Warsaw block countries. At Christmastime, I buy all the special items at Tesco down south, and bring them 250 miles. It's crazy. Why don't Tesco offer the same range of goods up north?!

::The supermarket itself is great and has a huge selection. The major problem is the busy roundabout you have next to it and once in the car park it's a free for all to drive like absolute idiots. On 3 occasions now I've had people hit my car, and when here yesterday someone almost got knocked down. A different layout is definitely needed!

::This is a massive store which sells absolutely everything. You don't have to queue very long at the tills as there is active queue management. Customer service desk is very helpful, but is sometimes under-staffed. I wouldn't recommend the attached eatery though, very high prices for food which doesn't reflect the price. I don't know why they changed from a normal supermarket cafe, which was great for a quick bite or drink. Who wants to dine at a restaurant when they've got bags of shopping, often including frozen food? There is plenty of parking available and the disabled bays are obviously nearest to the entrance. However, there is a very long walkway between the car park and the entrance - far too long for someone with mobility issues. Also (and this is true of all supermarkets), the keys to the mobility scooters are held at customer service. This means that after the hike from the car park you sometimes have to join a queue (once I had to wait 10 minutes) to get the key. For me, and probably a great many other disabled people, this adds further pain. If you're lucky there'll be a security guard at the entrance who will get the key for you, but you can't rely on this always being the case.
