  What are you really supposed to expect in a Tesco Express? To me it’s just an average supermarket with slightly less produce than a regular Tesco. However, there are only two self-checkouts as the Sainsbury’s up the road has at least 8. The security guard makes me uncomfortable and actually stands in the products on the end of the shelf, and one time I picked up a Caffe Late from the fridge and they have those lids where the edges of lid are raised and there’s a dip in the middle, and there was coffee in the lid’s dip. It went over my coat sleeve and my grey hoodie sleeve, not only staining them but making them smell of coffee

  Possibly the worst Tesco I've been to! Floors are filthy. Fridges are broken so food that should be chilled is at room temperature. Staff clearly don't care as most of them were chatting together at the back of the store. One poor guy on the till had to deal with the queue of fed up customers.

  Shocking, I feel bad that the staff have to work. Tesco clearly have the we dont need staff approach but then only have one self service machine (two, one cash only) For a few months I just got on with it but now I make it my very mission to avoid this place.

  The security guard wouldn't let me in, telling me they shut the tills off 10 minutes before closing to let everybody out. I expect better. I'm not exactly going for my weekly shop in a tiny Tesco...

  Tesco by the TravelLodge. The staff are unprofessional, the queues are tremendously long and incredibly slow. The service staff don't know what they are doing and behave like shuffling zombies. I have seen snails move quicker than the service staff. The queues are longer than the ones in Primark.
