A lack of vegetarian options. Especially now at Christmas. The reduced bread in the evening is fab. It's not my favourite place to shop but the only supermarket up staple hill. Staff are generally friendly, a few who can't smile or say hello but others who are chatty and caring. If you are an ethnic minority be prepared to get followed around the entire supermarket, it's happened to me on two occasions.

I went shopping in Tesco this morning to buy some breakfast for the family and left my son and daughter in the car. I noticed a stand which said free fruit for your children with a roll of transparent bags attached to the side. I took a banana orange and apple for each of them. Not long after was aggressively approached by a very rude lady namely CAROL COX who very abusively said I could not have it and aggressively took it from me. So much for customer service! She made me feel like I was stealing it. All the other staff were helpful and very understanding. Will not be be returning in a hurry to be abused by an over fed large intimidating lady again. Perhaps she wanted to take it home to eat it all herself by the look of her. A very dissatisfying shopping experience. ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE

I really like that shop and guys worked there. They all always happy to help, funny, and they really doing everything to keep high standards. All what i need i can buy there instead travel to big tesco. Lots discounted food or items. Good choice of everything what i actually need.

Get there about 7 or 8pm. They go to chuck out so much bread and reduce it down to pennies. Don't let it go to waste. Staff are friendly and helpful. But, can be a little bit chatty sometimes with the customer in front of you at a queue, and you've just come out of a gym and just want your food, and comfy bed.
