  Avalon is my local but leaving a review because the place is getting progressively worse. They had soccer and rugby on, full booked restaurant, with only one bartender serving. Took what felt like hours to be served by a bartender with attitude, whilst the rest of the staff bumbled about doing nothing. The food was okay, however after being severed and having the ask the waiter for cutlery, we waited for 10 mins and then had to go in and ask for some. Avalon used to be well oiled with fun, diligent staff, which made up for everything being overpriced. The place has gone to the dogs.

  Went for a roast dinner, very good. Nice selection of sharers to start with. 3 for £15 is a good deal. Nut roast was very tasty. 8/10 for the roasted potatoes. 10/10 the deserts. With bottle of rosé £35 a head. Good value and good service too.

  One of my favorite pubs in the Clapham area. The pub area has a decent atmosphere and has some screens for sport. Gets lively at the weekend in the evening. The restaurant has always been decent and the beer garden at the back is a nice touch. The beer garden gets packed in the summer.

  An excellent pub. Quite a young crowd but not exclusivity young. People of all ages go there. They have an excellent food menu. Beers are good. The decor is really nice. A proper pub done well.
