::Excellent public house. Great atmosphere. Very accommodating for my gluten free diet requirements. Staff pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. Absolutely recommend a visit.

::Pretty good pub and location. Range of real beers and others. Friendly service, decent atmosphere, board-type games if it rains. Such a small impressive village with school, church, green sand buildings... amazing!

::Very friendly place to stay. Good size room. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

::There is ample parking opposite the pub and if you enter from the side you go through a very modern entrance down some steps into the main bar which is very small with limited seating. We were seated in the new part of the pub which lacked atmosphere and the furniture was very rustic farmhouse with checked table cloths. We all decided to go for the Game pie special which was absolutely delicious, packed with different meats, fowl and flavour with a great pastry crust. The vegetables were just the right consistency and the chips were a good size. The waitress and the chef were very friendly and it was a delicious lunch but we felt the dining area lacked atmosphere.

::Was around for dinner late autumn and game was on the menu. The pheasant in bacon excellent. Good portions as well after a cold walk.
