  Peter helped me with a custom built bike and I was very happy with the service I received. His extensive knowledge, passion and interest in the matter allowed me to pick the right parts and I was very impressed with his work throughout. He is also helpful if you require small or large repairs and very friendly on top of it. Highly recommended.

  My chain got smashed in under the gears on my cycle into work and not only did they fix it, they realigned my breaks and tested them so it shouldn't happen again. Great chat too whilst it was checked over - highly recommended.

  Peter is passionate about bikes, which is immediately apparent when talking to him. This is reflected in the standard of service. Highly reliable, great communication and very affordable.

  Peter is a great trustworthy guy with an extensive knowledge base. I have bought all my cycling gear for the Coast to Coast race with him as well as doing general TLC repairs on my bike. He has great prices and you know that shopping with him you are supporting a local business. Best shop in Edinburgh.

  I Visited Peter soon after he opened, I live locally and prefer to help support local small business, plus it's situated very conveniently from me. I have a several bikes with a few of them quite technical so need assistance from bike shops who have good all-round mechanical knowledge. I must say I was very impressed with the attention to detail and service from the Bike Smith and have returned a number of times with different problems which have been quickly solver. Very reasonably prices and friendly, I recommend The Bike Smith Causewayside without question.
