Lovely food, friendly staff and allows dogs both inside and out! Perfect for some food after spending the day tiring the dogs out round the blickling estate. I would advise booking in advance as it is very popular.

Lovely pub with dog friendly restaurant. Excellent food although a little pricey

Is very handy for visiting the trip Blickling Hall. This is an old-fashioned pub/hotel. The pub aspect is quite atmospheric and a good range of drinks and food. The evening meals that we had with great and had very generous portions. We stayed for a couple of nights but our room was a little bit shabby and could have done with an update. Otherwise the room was reasonably comfortable and airy. Our room could have been a bit cleaner. We did peek at another couple of rooms and they were both much more up-to-date modern and clean looking. The breakfast was nice but not spectacular. Overall we will certainly be happy to return there on our next visit.

Fabulous place, buzzing! Best food ever! I'm sorry to say that we returned today full of expectation only to be disappointed by 2 of the 3 main meals which were inedible. The roast was so sad, with school vegetables no seasoning in them at all and bullet roast potatoes you couldn't cut. The lemon some had almost been cremated. It hurts the write this review I have changed this from five stars to three as the two main courses that we couldn't eat had been taken off the bill. The starters were lovely as we're the staff.

Beautiful 17th century coaching house. Path from the carpark very muddy and slippery. Glad to see separate area for customers who bring dogs. Staff very pleasant and polite. Food quite expensive as expected and similar quality to the other restaurants owned by this chain. No warm bread offered here, while waiting for food. Main meal was adequately portioned and tasty. Didn't bother with dessert as it was overpriced.
